"I am an artist. I seek to visually shape various realities that I perceive inside me. Digital art has awakened my essence, which seeks to express a visionary, entheogenic art that communicates a sacred language."

Fernando Fetex is a Brazilian artist who has his visual work deeply connected with electronic music. Since 2009, he has dedicated himself to creating visual identity for parties, festivals, artists and record labels in various parts of the world, such as Zenon Records, Merkaba Music, Forestdelic Rec., Space Baby Rec., Woo-Dog Rec, among others. With his work recognized on the scene in several countries, he is a national reference in digital and visionary.

It combines digital painting, 3D modeling and image manipulation to build arts with a lot of magnetism. His works are inspired by this connection between technological and organic, ancestry and futurism, mind and spirit. Altered states of consciousness, power plants and dreams. It is in connection with music that he develops his inspiration, creating visual pieces that express sound in colors and shapes.

His style of creation has a lot of influence from the "Electro-Mineralism" of artists like Android Jones; and also William Latham, an artist and computer scientist, who pioneered the creation of digital organisms and procedural geometry in the late 1980s.

Fernando was born in Porto Alegre, but was raised 500km away, on the border between Brazil and Uruguay, in Santana do Livramento, a place known as the Frontier of the Peace. He holds a degree in journalism from PUCRS University. His passion for digital art started around the age of 12, playing with image manipulation software, such as GIMP. Over the years he has been constantly having fun with these programs, and, after knowing a Psytrance, Fetex plunged deeply into this visionary universe.
